Frequently asked questions
Does cropping reduce the quality?
The part you keep has the same pixels as before. JPG images are saved again at high quality, so any difference is very hard to see.
Which shape do I need for a profile picture?
Most sites use a square, so choose 1:1. For a video thumbnail or a wide banner, choose 16:9.
Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
Yes. Type the width, height and position in the fields under the image.
